Kindergarten Readiness Evaluation

What Is Developmental Testing, or a Kindergarten Readiness Evaluation?

This evaluation helps families better understand their young child’s strengths and the areas where they may need extra support as they prepare for kindergarten and early learning. You’ll leave with a clear picture of how your child is doing developmentally, and what supports will help them thrive.

Who This Evaluation Is For

This evaluation is a good fit for families who are:

  • Preparing to enroll their child in kindergarten or an early learning program

  • Wondering whether their child is meeting developmental milestones

  • Noticing early differences in attention, language, social skills, or behavior

  • Seeking guidance from a preschool before starting school

What to Expect

This is a short-form evaluation, with approximately three to four hours of direct testing time, plus a clinical interview hour with a parent or caregiver and a feedback session hour where Dr. Rollet walks you through the results.

You’ll leave with a clear understanding of your child’s developmental profile and practical recommendations to support their transition into the classroom.
